Local Kansas City Tuners

Someone emailed me today asking about tuning their MKIII. This question comes up every once in a while mostly about chipping a new GTI or 2.0T, or turbocharging a 2.5L. I thought I'd post the local businesses that do this sort of thing or at least would give you good advice or point you in the right direction.

"I have a 97 mk3 vr6 that i want to do a lot of mods motor wise you look like you know a lot about VWs and I was wondering if you can point me in the right direction concerning any vw shops that specialize in turbo or supercharger applications thanx and i would greatly appreciate your help."

Porsche takes over VW

AFP just reported that Porsche finally increased its stake in VW from 31% to over 50%, thereby taking over the company. We're now one big family with the best of the best in the world - Porsche. It is exciting, despite the union battles ahead to think that more shared projects may be underway in the future (Cayenne and Touareg share the same platform and Porsche is planning to use one of VWs Diesel engine).
